Malaysian Airlines Auditorium, Malaysia
Sophisticated lighting control for conferences and seminars
Malaysian Airlines ultra-modern contemporary auditorium is used for training, conferences and seminars that are all part of the busy airlines daily activities. Lighting requirements included pre-event lighting and dimming different sets of levels for speeches, training presentations, shows, staff functions and meetings, as well as for full conferences and seminars.
The Large auditorium installation uses a dedicated PFX System mounted in the Projector AV room. The PFX lighting control and scene dimmer rack is an idea solution, with local switchplate, remote controls and monitoring/ control from the building control center. The all digital PFX system sits neatly on the wall utilizing minimal room space, due to its compact footprint & shallow depth.
Futronix PFX system with X-Bus control
The PFX’s X-BUS protocol allows all power and data to be sent down a single multi-stranded cable, daisy-chained to each control switch plate in turn. This useful feature for lighting control for large areas such as auditoriums requires significantly less cabling and installation, and provides greater reliability due to fewer components and connections, easier terminations and more robust cabling.
Airlines are renowned for their high standards of staff training & safety obligations – Malaysian Airlines relies on Futronix to provide the lighting for this most important of tasks.
