Sophisticated hotel lighting control

InterContinental Hotels Group most recent opening is the first Crowne Plaza hotel in Vietnam. Situated in Hanoi's business district, Crowne Plaza is the lynchpin of a commercial, office and residential complex, located only minutes away from the National Convention Centre and National Stadium.

The hotel has an emphasis on business and event management due to its proximity to the business district and National Convention Center. It has a main Ballroom, Conference & Seminar facilities as well as 393 guest rooms and 40 luxurious suites.

Futronix provided the lighting controls for all public areas including Lobby, Reception, Ballroom, Function Room and Conference Facilities. The projects emphasis was on a mix of lighting types; cold cathode was used for the lobby coffers and mixed with fluorescent and halogen lamps for reception. Throughout the hotel, a mix of halogen and dimmable and low energy fluorescent was used.
