Master control of Enviroscene with the Home-Icon Color TouchScreen
At the owner's request, all programming and operation of the Enviroscene system for the entire home can be done from the Futronix Home-Icon © TFT Color Touch Screen, a dynamically updated interface that operates as master controller for all dimmers, switch panels and accessories.
Master control is simple, with the touch screen's customized graphics representing home layout, system components, performance and other settings in a clear and logical user-friendly format, and an in-built 365-day astronomical timer to program lighting for special events far in advance.
Locating the Home-Icon touch screen panel by the front entrance allows the owner to select 'welcome' scenes, turn on security lights, or operate any lighting in the house.
Enviroscene dimmers also feature an integral 24/7 timer that can select up to 70 events per week, a 2-hour sleep delay feature, 'trail of light' scene for the master bedroom, and a 'welcome home' scene for evenings. The system is also programmed to control home automation features including motorized sunshades in the home theater, TVs, and water features.
Programming & Operation from remote handset or switchpanels
Remote operation is as simple as pressing a key on a switchplate or a convenient remote control handset. Outstation switchplates of polished stainless steel in minimalist style act as multi-location switches to select lighting scenes in any or all rooms.
Installation of this complex system was facilitated by the Enviroscene's integral X-Bus databus that allowed for space-saving 'daisy-chain' cabling connecting all 12 Enviroscene dimmers, the Home-Icon touch screen interface and all switchpanels.
For the satisfied owner, installing an automated dimmer system minimized switching lights on and off, adjusting dimmers, AV equipment and window shades, and setting security alarms. Control of all lighting throughout the home is comprehensive and system operation is effortless, enhancing the home's appearance and comfort, and leaving more time for business and leisure.
